Field Trips

Picture
Field trips are a key part of any geography degree wherever you choose to study it. They are a great opportunity to get out of the lecture theatres and go visit Thailand, Nepal, Iceland or Newcastle to see the geographical processes that you're learning about first hand.

Durham's geography department offers a wide range of attractive field trips for students in all three years of study occurring at different times of the year.

Field trip reviews for each year of study have been included on this website to allow for prospective students to see the sort of locations that Durham geography students visit and to provide information to current students deciding their field trip locations.
