Studying in Durham

Picture
Whether we like it or not, we are all here in Durham to work and finish after three years of hard work with a degree, from which point we decide what path to follow in the next stage of our lives. However, we have to get through university first and DUGS aims to help it's members with this by providing them with all sorts of information from module and field trip reviews to a book sale section.

A geography degree is one of the more complex degrees at Durham University. Are you a human or physical goer, maybe a bit of both? Do you enjoy fieldwork or do you prefer more computational techniques like GIS and SPSS? Do you want to undertake modules from another department, or are you purely interested in geography modules?

We hope to be able to provide you information on this site that enables you to make an informed decision on your path through your degree at Durham. Also, if you feel have anything to add in regards to the reviews written and comments made on this website, please feel free to contact us! It is the contribution of members of DUGS that make us such a great and informative society to be a part of!
