Level 2 Field Trips

Picture
There are four field trips in year two contained within the two physical and human methods double modules, Scientific Research in Geography and Social Research in Geography. Students choose to take part in only one of these trips. These trips visit:
  • Isle of Skye
  • Lake District
  • Glasgow
  • Liverpool

All four field trips take place in the Easter holidays. In terms of assessment, ten page fieldwork reports are written based on a research proposal devised within small groups with whom you collect your data. These count for 50% of the double research modules.

Other smaller field trips also occur in Level 2 but these are shorter trips included within module teaching.
