ABOUT DUGS
Durham University Geographical Society is one of the oldest and largest student run academic societies within Durham University. With the majority of Geography students being members, along with many students from other degree courses, the society provides an effective link between students from different colleges and departments.
The society aims to provide members with all the information they need about studying geography at Durham and careers after university, whilst providing a wide variety of exclusive social and academic events throughout the year. This year we are aiming to become bigger and better than ever before hosting a large number of guest lectures, freshers, Christmas and summer social events, as well as the infamous Geography Ball.

MEMBERSHIP
Membership is open to all students of Durham University, enabling you to join DUGS at any given point in the year. Membership allows you access to speaker events throughout Michaelmas and Epiphany terms, as well as a variety of socials and formal events throughout the year.
